  • fairpcp_refid — stores your referral source (expires after 30 days)

These are all strictly necessary cookies required for the service to function. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

8. Data security

We take the security of your data seriously. All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using SSL/TLS. Your personal data is stored on secure servers and access is restricted to authorised personnel only.

9. Data retention

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to process your claim and comply with our legal obligations. Typically this means:

  • Active claims — data is retained until the claim is concluded
  • Completed claims — data is retained for 6 years after conclusion, in line with regulatory requirements
  • Incomplete applications — data is deleted after 12 months of inactivity

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data
  • Erasure — ask us to delete your data (where there is no legal reason for us to keep it)
